Come join MassHire Metro North Workforce Board, Partners HealthCare, employers, youth, community organizations and others for a conversation on youth employment in the Metro North region. UMass Donahue Institute will be presenting findings from an analysis of youth employment data in the twenty-community Metro North workforce region and a panel of employers, youth, and community organizations will discuss the importance of early work experiences for youth and the benefits to businesses that work with young people.
A special keynote address will be given by Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Rosalin Acosta.
Panelists will include employers and community based organizations that have experience working with youth and several youth that have benefited from these programs. This will be an opportunity to ask questions and learn how your company/organization can work with Metro North area youth and programs.
Learn, be a part of the discussion, take action.
