Are you an Everett teen interested in entrepreneurship?
Babson College has been ranked the #1 school in the USA for entrepreneurship for 27 years and they are coming for a workshop on June 27th from 9am to 1pm at the Everett Recreation Center!
The Babson Academy Youth Lab Entrepreneurship in Action workshop will include two parts:
Thinking and Acting Like an Entrepreneur
This session introduces students to Babson’s definition of entrepreneurship and its Entrepreneurial Thought & Action (ET&A®) methodology. Students will work in teams to practice design thinking by generating solutions for a challenge related to a UN Global Goal. At the end of the session, students will present their problems and proposed solutions and receive real-time feedback on their ideas.
Prototyping Challenge
The students will be led through a rapid prototyping exercise where they bring their ideas to life in physical form. Students will learn about the advantages of taking action and receiving real-time feedback. In this hands-on activity, students will learn how they can make their ideas tangible using simple resources such as paper, cardboard, scissors, markers, and tape to communicate their ideas.
