MassHire Metro North Workforce Board is thrilled to announce its expanding partnership with Breaktime, and the expansion of Breaktime’s work to the Metro North Region.
Through purposeful transitional employment, Breaktime, a Massachusetts based nonprofit, works to break the cycle of young adult homelessness and empower young adults experiencing homelessness to build stability in their own lives while building resilience in their communities.
About this Event
Breaktime is officially expanding to Cambridge, Chelsea, Somerville, Everett, Revere, and 15 other communities north of Boston! This marks an exciting first step towards its statewide expansion, and we are deeply grateful for the MassHire Metro North Workforce Board for making it all possible.
Come celebrate with us and learn more about Breaktime’s work over some apps, beer, and seltzer at Lamplighter Brewing Co’s East Cambridge location.

Format of Event:
This event will be a casual opportunity to make new connections and learn more about Breaktime's expansion into the Metro North region. The event will be organized as follows:
-5:30-6:00: 30 minutes of time to mingle and connect with others
-6:00-6:15: A 15-minute speaking portion featuring our special guests
-6:15-7:00: 45 minutes to explore and interact with stations around the room that provide more information about the work of Breaktime and the MassHire Metro North Workforce Board
