The Metro North Regional Employment Board, Inc. (Metro North REB), d/b/a MassHire Metro North Workforce Board (MNWB), is issuing this request for proposal (RFP) to select the operator(s) for the region’s one-stop career centers (American Job Centers). The Career Centers are funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and other public and private funding and are responsible for providing workforce development services for businesses and job seekers within the Metro North region. The purpose of this solicitation is to select a qualified One-Stop Career Center operator(s) to provide career, training, and employer services under WIOA and other public and private funding. MNWB is seeking proposals that describe innovative approaches to deliver a broad range of services to unemployed and underemployed adults, dislocated workers, youth, and employers in the Metro North region. November 2, 2023 – Bidder’s Conference: 10:00AM – 11:30 AM (RSVP to RFP@masshiremetronorth.org to receive login) *Bidder’s conference attendance is not required.
November 22, 2023 – Letters of Intent due. *A letter of intent is required for a proposal to be considered. Submit to RFP@masshiremetronorth.org.
December 13, 2023 – Deadline for submission of written questions. Submit all questions to RFP@masshiremetronorth.org.
December 22, 2023 – Proposals due by 4:00pm ET. Submit to RFP@masshiremetronorth.org
July 1, 2024 – Contract start date
