The Metro North Program for Retail Opportunities (MNPRO) has developed a 50-hour training program designed to give front-line retail workers the foundational skills required for success in your proprietary management training program. This training focuses on providing support in areas many internal management trainings do not address but are necessary for success in building a career in retail management. By providing incumbent workers with foundational coursework in retail math, accounting, communication and computer skills, the program aims to address local retailers’ challenges of promoting frontline staff. Career coaching, financial literacy, and other wraparound supports are provided to the incumbent workers. Classes are taught in a community college setting with taught by experts in the field.
