Reaching out to the MassHire Metro North Community regarding COVID-19 April 29, 2020
Dear MassHire Metro North Community:
As we continue our work under the economic and health realities of Covid-19, we want to reach out to find out how everyone is faring and to reassure businesses and jobseekers that the MassHire Metro North Workforce Board and Career Center remain committed to serving you.
The staff of the Workforce Board and Career Center have been privileged to be able to work from home. We have been fully remote for the past six weeks, continuing to serve our region’s businesses and residents while also tending to a myriad of other responsibilities at our respective homes. We know many of you are in the same boat. We are profoundly grateful to all of those out in the community daily – feeding us, caring for us.
We recognize that many of our partners are hard hit by the economic pain of Covid-19. We are gathering and analyzing data, talking to partners about the impact of Covid-19, sharing resources and preparing to serve the growing number of job seekers and employers that will be accessing our Career Centers, programs, and services in the coming months.
Please reach out to us as you plan for the future. Our hair and beards may be longer, and our work attire may be more casual these days, but we are still here to serve you.
