On June 18, 2019, John Hampe, IT Manager at the MassHire Metro North Career Center in Woburn, took the stage at the first annual MassHire Day Awards as a finalist in the “Ingenuity” category. The Ingenuity category honors MassHire employees who “Leverages flexibility, expertise, and knowledge to successfully meet our mission, regardless of new challenges and circumstances.“
As one of his colleagues wrote in his nomination submission, “Early in John’s tenure at the Woburn Career Center, the staff gave him the nick-name of SuperMan since he solves day-to-day issues AND proactively determines what else needs to be accomplished, implements solutions, documents process/policy and then communicates flawlessly with the entire staff ensuring effective and efficient use of the entire center’s technology tools.” Congratulations John!!
