Heather Derby

Currently the STEM Programs Manager, Heather Derby joined MassHire Metro North Workforce Board in September 2018 as a Youth Programs Specialist. Prior to joining MassHire MNWB, Heather worked as Grants Manager for an emerging New York City based dance company and an educator with the Miami-Dade Public School system in Miami, Florida. She comes with several years of experience in workforce development, and teaching at the secondary and post-secondary levels. Heather holds a Master’s degree in Regional Economic and Social Development (RESD) from UMass Lowell, and Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Relations.
