Mayor Joe Curtatone and Danny LeBlanc DIVE into the Mystic River!
On Thursday, June 20, Somerville Community Corporation (SCC) hosted a breakfast at the Blessing of the Bay Boathouse in Somerville to launch its 50th Anniversary Celebration! SCC supporters came out in force, even on a rainy day! The speakers were great, as was the food. But the true highlight of the morning was a parade led by Somerville’s own Second Line Brass Band to the bank of the Mystic River. As the music played, we witnessed Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone and Danny LeBlanc, CEO of SCC (and a Board Member at MassHire Metro North Workforce Board) DIVE into the Mystic River!! Congratulations to SCC – we look forward to the year ahead!
