STEM Internships for Somerville Students

12 Somerville High School students celebrated a summer of learning, growth, and exploration across a range of STEM industries. In partnership with the City of Somerville’s Job Creation and Retention Trust, students completed STEM internships with local institutions including Mass General Hospital, Tufts University, Northeastern University, LabCentral, and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.

At the celebration, students presented on their internship experiences, what they learned, and how the program helped shape their professional interests as they prepare to enter higher education.
