On Monday, October 7th, the MNWB, in partnership with Partners HealthCare in Somerville, hosted the first annual Youth Employment Forum which brought over 100 attendees composed of nonprofit, city, state, and business leaders across the Metro North and Greater Boston region. The forum featured a keynote address by Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Rosalin Acosta, a presentation from Rod Motamedi from the UMass Donahue Institute on Youth Employment/Education trends in the Metro North Region, and a panel composed of business leaders, nonprofit leaders, and youth, discussing youth employment.

The event was a great success met with optimism, great Q&A from audience participants, and a beautiful space provided by Partners HealthCare at Assembly row.

Thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this event a great success!
