CHUCK COAKLEY

Chuck Coakley joined MassHire Metro North Workforce Board in June of 2021 as a part-time contractor in a pilot program utilizing a grant from the Mass. Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development (EOHED). The main purpose of the grant was to pilot a statewide virtual, module-based, manufacturing exploratory program targeting unemployed workers. The program promoted manufacturing careers as a means to becoming gainfully employed. In September of 2021 Chuck was hired as a full-time contractor to develop and work as an Apprenticeship Growth and Expansion Coordinator for NAMC/MassHire in the Metro North organization. Chuck is joining MNWB as a full-time employee January 1, 2022 to continue working as an Apprenticeship Growth and Expansion Coordinator for NAMC/MassHire in the Metro North organization.

Prior to joining MNWB, Chuck was a Project Manager for MassMEP, a non-profit organization. As a Project Manager, training and consulting with small and large manufacturing companies throughout Massachusetts. He is experienced in helping companies develop and grow through the development od LEAN initiatives including mapping current state activities to design future state value streams.

Additionally, he serves as a volunteer member of the Board of Directors at the Goddard Health Foundation, Brockton, Ma. He has served the Board of Directors from 2011 to present, Treasurer 2013 to present.

Chuck earned an MBA from Babson College and a BS from Boston State College.
