New to the MassHire team, Kaila Parkin is one of the MNWB Youth Program Specialists, serving in Somerville High School and Everett High School. Kaila is from New Jersey and has loved getting to learn more about the greater Boston area. Kaila is a recent graduate from Rutgers New Brunswick, majoring in Sociology with a double minor in Spanish and Organizational Leadership. Previous to joining the team, Kaila served as an Americorp Summer Enrichment Coordinator in North Philadelphia, assisting in closing the opportunity gap for young kids in the city. She also previously worked as a substitute teacher in New Jersey schools! In her free time, Kaila loves to read, loves musical theater, and loves her dog, Sadie! Kaila has many experiences in supporting her local community and is excited to continue to help those around her in Massachusetts.
